Aunt Judy's Birthday Card

Hello blogger friends. My Aunts birthday is at the end of the month and I want to share the card that I made for her. I saw this Diamond Fold card on Creations With Christina and she has a great video on how to do this fold. I used my Once Upon a Princess cartridge for this card. This card measures 4"x4".

Here it is folded up.
Here is a side view. This card has lots of dimension to it. I really like it and it is super easy to make.

Left side of the card.

Center of the card.

Right side of the card. I wrote a little something on the back of this flap to my aunt.

Cricut Cartridge: Once Upon a Princess
Paper: DCWV - Adhesive Prints & The Sweet Matstack with Glitter
Sentiment: Studio G
Other Items: Corner Chompers (for envelope), Stickles, Glossy accents (for cupcake wrapper) and decrotive scissors to cut out sentiments.
Lets not forget a pretty envelope. I used a dye cut and embossing folder to make the stamp.

Here is the inside of the envelope. This envelope is for an A2 sized card.

To make this envelope start with a 7 3/4" x 10" piece of paper.
Lay it long ways (10") across the top of your score board and score at 2 1/2" & 7" (this makes the top & bottom flap). Turn paper so the short side is now across the top of your board and score 1" in on either side of the paper (this makes the side flaps). You will now see rectangles on all four corners of the paper, you need to cut these out, then fold on all score lines to make your envelope. To add a decorative lining cut a piece of coordinating paper at 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" and glue to the inside top portion of your envelope. NOTE: the lining does not go all the way down to the bottom of the envelope. You can cut it so it will but I just don't to save paper. You then fold the top flap down to crease the inside lining of your envelope. Fold the two outside small flaps in and place glue on them and fold up the bottom flap. I hope this is not to confusing, maybe I'll do a tutorial on this in the near future.

God bless you all,
Kellie
