Hello blogger friends. I have a quick post tonight. I was in a crafting mood (when am I not, hee, hee, hee) and wanted to make something for my room. I made a quick banner that says "Crafts" and hung it by my next to one of my shelves. I used Kate's ABCs cartridge for this project and my Gypsy.
I used lots of flowers and buttons to dress it up a bit. Lots of fun, but when is crafting not fun.
God Bless you creative crafters,
Kellie

Monday Challenge #15 - Sunny Days
Hello blogger friends and happy Saturday. Another Monday challenge over at My Craft Spot. This challenge is to make a card that reminds you of summer. To me summer is (or should be) warm with flowers blooming and the bees buzzing around. Here is the card I'm entering into this weeks challenge.
Printed the sentiment on my computer, punched it out and inked up the edges.
The background paper was one sheet with the white flowers on it. I cut it up into squares and glued them to the brown background to give the card a little added interest. I really love this card, I think it turned out better than I thought it would.
Thanks so much for taking a peek.
God Bless you all,
Kellie
Used my iRock to set gems in the flowers and in the bees crown.
A little stitching around the wings really helps them pop out. Also used pop dots to make the bees stand out.Printed the sentiment on my computer, punched it out and inked up the edges.

Moms Break and Lunch Sign
Hi bloggers, I wanted to share a post of the Tepee (or A frame) sign my mom made. She made this sign to put up at her desk when she went on her break or lunch. She used Kate's ABCs, one of my favorite cartridges. It turned out really super cute.
I think she may be in trouble because this is so darn cute that everyone where she works will want her to make them one.
God Bless you all,
Kellie

Monday Challenge # 11 - Tie it On!
Hello blogger friends, here is the card I made for the Monday Challenge #11 - Tie it On taking place at My Craft Spot. The requirements were to tie ribbon or twine somewhere on your card. I wanted to make a sweet (pun intended) simple little card and since I really love the Kate's ABCs cartridge I decided to use it for my card. I wanted soft clean colors with no clutter. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
Cartridge: Kate's ABCs
Image: Flower4 on page 29 cut at 3", Phrase cut at 1 1/4"
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder: D'vine Swirls
Tim Holtz Distressing Ink: Tattered Rose
Misc: Twine and button
Trying to keep it simple I tied twine around one edge and used a button to top it off. Yes I did use my gel pen to stitch around my card, me and my stitching, I love it. But in my defense I know that I'm not the only one that loves to stitch around their cards so I'm okay with it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
God Bless you all,
Kellie

Adorable Bunny from Kate's ABC's
As promised here is the bunny card that I made from the Kate's ABCs Cartridge. I used this for an Easter card and just stamped Happy Easter inside for the sentiment. I love to stitch around the outside of the card and around the bunny with a Gelly Roll pen.
I added a few other touches to the card like a sparkle brad to the center of the flowers and I used my iRock to place a gem for the rabbits eye.
God Bless,
Kellie
