Elephant Card For Cindy

Hello blogger friends. My friend Cindy at Card Crazee Me53 fell and is not feeling really well right now. I made this cute little elephant card for her. If you haven't had a chance to see Cindy's blog please go visit and look at how talented she is. She really creates beautiful cards. Maybe even leave her a get well comment.
Isn't he just the cutest. I used my Gypsy and my Paisley cartridge, if you don't have a Gypsy you can find him on page 28.
The paper is from DCWV and is from the Once Upon A Time mat stack. The little envelope is from some scrap paper.I though the paper I used for the elephant looked kind of like elephant skin. The background paper had that really pretty gold corner accent on the opposite corner as well but I had to cut it off to fit the card. I still think it worked.  I used Tim Holtz Distressing Ink in Vintage Photo to  ink around the elephant, his ear and the letter.
I added 3 little gems to the top right corner with my iRock. My son brought me home two pens in gold and silver. I used the gold one and a straight ruler to outline the card. I'm really happy with how it framed the card.
I used my Gypsy again and made the envelope large enough to fit the inside of the card and then added a sentiment. Oh I also inked up the edges of the envelope.
Here's a picture of the gold pen, they are really stinky when you use them but it sure goes on nice.

God Bless you all and thanks for stopping by.

Pinwheel Card

Hello Bloggers. When I was surfing the blog today I saw this really pretty Pinwheel card and just had to make one. I saw it on Dreaming About Rubber Stamps. Please check out  Darlenes site for all the  dimensions on this card and a tutorial on how to construct it.

Here is a closer view of the pinwheel. I used Tim Holtz distressing ink in 'black soot' around everything on this card.

Criut Cartridges: Paisley -  for love you phrase
I used the Cricut markers in place of the blade for the phrase
Gypsy Font - for back ground oval cut at 2.51W x 1.25H
the front oval is at 2W x 1.4H
Paper: K&Company, Black & Ivory Designer

I did use my Gypsy to cut the ovals and phrase.

I always add a bit of coordinating paper to the inside of my cards. I do leave them blank to write on later.

On the back I always write my name, year and blog address. If anyone knows where I can have a personal stamp of this made please leave me a comment.

God Bless you all,
Kellie

Gift for Mom

Hello fellow bloggers, I hope everyone had a wonderful day. When I was out and about with my mom on Saturday shopping at different craft stores she found a small bottle of Skittles on clearance that were clear in color. We looked around but couldn't find any more. I knew that I had seven different colors at home (including clear) but didn't say anything to her. So yesterday I went to Joann's and bought a small bead organizer and put a little of my Skittles in each container for her. I made a little bag and sent them to her via our "Man Mail". We own our own business so my husband and father work together every day so we send each other stuff through them and call it our "Man Mail".  Well here it is, I think the frog turned out so cute.
The Skittle colors are Peal White, Pink, Green, Blue, Purple and Black. I threw in some Bobble Eyes too.
Cricut Cartridge: Paisley
Image: Frog2 on page 36 cut at 2 1/2"
Pink Stickles
Bobble Eyes with lashes
Don't you just love those eyes. My husband found those Bobble Eyes with lashes at Joann's one day for me. I love how she turned out. I used my Gypsy for this frog so I could hide some cut out areas on her. I only wanted her mouth cut out and then cut out the heart image.

God Bless you all,
Kellie
